Good to know
Questions & answers
The things Chelsea clients ask us most about moving with us — and beyond.
Which parts of Chelsea do you cover?
All of Chelsea and prime SW London — SW3 and SW10. The King’s Road and Sloane Square, Cheyne Walk and the Chelsea Embankment, Chelsea Harbour, World’s End and Lots Road, Brompton, Chelsea Green and the garden squares. We know the streets, the loading windows and the conservation constraints of each.
Do you handle listed and conservation-area townhouses?
Constantly — they are the Chelsea norm. Grade-listed Cheyne Walk frontages, narrow period staircases, mansion-flat service lifts and protected garden squares are all planned for in advance: the access, the protection of the building itself, and the careful route for each large or delicate piece.
What makes your service “white-glove”?
It means the details are handled quietly and completely: full protection of floors, banisters and doorways; individually wrapped and padded pieces; furniture dismantled and reassembled; and an experienced crew who treat a period home and its contents with the discretion they deserve. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is left to chance.
Can you move antiques, fine art and pianos?
Yes — these are the specialist moves Chelsea asks for most, and they have their own dedicated pages. Antique furniture, paintings and sculpture, and uprights and grand pianos are each handled with bespoke protection and hand-carried through period access by people who do it routinely.
Do you coordinate with porters and concierge at mansion blocks?
Always. For Chelsea Harbour apartments and the mansion blocks off Sloane Square we liaise with the building in advance — booking the service lift and loading bay, agreeing the window, and observing house rules — so the move is calm and considerate to your neighbours.
Do you offer storage and packing?
We do — secure, climate-considered storage for when timings don’t align or building works intervene, and full white-glove packing with proper materials for valuable and delicate pieces. We can hold your belongings and return them when you are ready.
Do you only move within Chelsea, or further afield?
Both. Most of our work is within Chelsea and prime SW London, but we also undertake European removals from Chelsea to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal — the same considered crew seeing the move through, with the post-Brexit customs handled properly.
How do I arrange a quote?
Send us the details through the enquiry form or call us — what is moving, from where, to where, and roughly when. We will reply with a clear, written quote. We don’t publish set prices, because a mansion-flat move and a full townhouse with a grand piano are genuinely different pieces of work.
Still wondering something?
Just ask — we are happy to talk it through, in confidence.
